About Morgan:

I felt a calling to give back to the women of my community. There is something special about giving birth and starting a family, I knew I needed to be a part of this space.

Even without my own pregnancy experiences, I found a passion for women bringing life into this world. I became a trained birth doula with DONA International in June 2022, followed by becoming a trained postpartum doula in July 2022. The journey of child birth doesn’t stop after delivery. The 4th trimester is a crucial time for mom and baby and I wanted to provide support both labor and delivery and the postnatal healing stage.

Through all stages of pregnancy and birth, a doula provides evidence-based information to moms, their support partners and families. A doula doesn’t take the place of a support partner, but “mothers” the family unit as a whole. Birth is exciting but also can feel like you are walking into the unknown, a doula is there to guide you. I am here to support the ideal birth you are looking for, whether that is in a hospital, birth center or at home.

As a postpartum doula, the care continues after delivery. I offer care for mom, baby and the whole family for up to 12 weeks after birth. Postpartum care packages are available to fit the kind of support you are looking for, or can be customized for you and your family.

When I’m not in the birth space, you can find me outside exploring everything Richmond has to offer, running, spending time with my family on our sailboat, working part time at a wedding venue, starting another home project or headed to the mountains for some snowboarding!
